I contacted Bell Recruitment as I was interested in working within the FMCG Industry. I was familiar with the company and had been recommended to use their services by colleagues. I found the staff very friendly and felt at ease when visiting them.

I met with Paula to discuss the type of roles that I was interested in, and most importantly those that I wasn’t. She was very helpful in underlining the type of roles that were available to me, and was very open and honest about what to expect in terms of salary, career progression etc.

The roles that I was put forward for were Sales & Marketing orientated, as I wanted to further my career within this area but within the FMCG sector. I felt that Bell were the best people to approach as they specialise within this sector and had placed past colleagues in some fantastic positions.

Paula put forward my CV to relevant companies and if successful, set up an interview. I was fully briefed on the job description, the company background and the people who would be interviewing me. I was offered helpful advice on the approach to take and information to offer the interviewers. I found Bell’s post- interview equally as good. Paula called to see how it went and was very efficient in updating me on reviews given by interviewers. On my behalf she contacted the companies to see if they had made their decision and negotiate conditions.

I found the roles that I was put forward for interesting and I was confident that they would find a position that would suit my requirements. I would recommend Bell Recruitment to friends and family, and I would certainly use their services again, although I hope not for a while and I am really enjoying the role they have secured for me.

While thinking of a career change I discovered various positions on the NI jobs website through Bell Recruitment. Having come from the generation which applied directly for jobs before recruitment agencies were established I was apprehensive of what the process would involve.

I contacted Sharon Miscandlon of Bell Recruitment who immediately outlined her role and gave me confidence in her ability to find me a position. I met with Sharon for an informal interview after which my confidence in her ability to help me was further cemented. I found her very understanding and helpful with regard to writing a CV and interview techniques. I also felt that having met me in person Sharon was in a better position to recognise posts which would be beneficial to me.

The aspect which I found most enlightening was that Sharon indicated that I was ‘selling myself short’ with regard to the positions and remuneration I would be qualified for. From this point onwards I had regular calls from Sharon offering support and allaying any apprehensions I may have had. Various positions and interviews were arranged and I made a successful change in my career.

In short I would recommend Bell Recruitment as I found them approachable, understanding and very intuitive towards my individual requirements. The process was less stressful than originally anticipated and the support was invaluable.
